The Children's Justice Task Force is excited to be in Bellevue, Washington hosting the 25th annual Children's Justice Conference. The CJC continues to demonstrate our dedication to being on the forefront of change and diversity.
Thank you for joining us for the 25 year anniversary of the Children’s Justice Conference! The first conference was convened March 4-5, 1993, in Tacoma. There were twenty-one break-out sessions and seven plenary sessions. There are presently over 100 break-out sessions to fulfill the call of this multi-disciplinary gathering with specialized tracks designated for intermediate and advanced experience levels of our audience, and to reflect the diversity of disciplines.
Additionally, the conference now rotates between Eastern and Western Washington, while still maintaining the mission of the conference; to provide colleagues with an opportunity to hear well-renowned leaders in the field of child maltreatment and gain access to the newest research and evidence based practices. It allows a perfect opportunity to network and discuss the challenges and successes in our child welfare and justice systems.
We welcome your unwavering commitment to the children and families we serve as we continue to “Shine the light on Children.”
