E-07 - Staying Balanced in the eye of the Storm

Despite all our good work and training we come across people and situations that give us pause. This can impact our work and even how we go forward each day. This session will help us find individual strategies for personal self care to prevent compassion fatigue. This session will also inspire us to feel real hope where there may have been despair. ! !

This presentation will consist of presenting current thinking from a scientific basis of how our environments have impacted our very genes. But how armed with this information we can make positive changes to go forward in a healthier manor. Being in charge of our future instead of victims of our situation. Participants will also explore strategies for planning healthy personal paths and identify physical, mental, spiritual and emotional resources that are available.
